The joint development and construction of the first-class biology discipline was discussed recently, when a delegation from the School of Life Sciences at Shanghai’s Fudan University met counterparts at Inner Mongolia University.

The two sides met in IMU’s campus in Hohhot, capital of North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region on Oct 26, discussing the joint construction of a key first-class biology discipline.

At the meeting, Gao Guanglai, the vice-president of IMU, outlined to the FU delegates the general situation at his university and future plans for the development of a first-class course and the position of teachers and managers.

IMU School of Life Sciences dean Mo Rigen gave his take on the joint development of the course with FU.

After discussion with experts of the FU delegation, IMU announced its intention to develop the course, appoint teaching teams, as well as initiatives in scientific research and talent training.
